The Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (hereinafter "JMC") is committed to providing its Citizens with the highest levels of service. In furtherance of this commitment, JMC allows taxpayers to pay many types of tax liabilities with a credit card / debit card / net banking, using the Internet. Taxpayers should check JMC’s website for information and updates regarding the types of tax liabilities for which credit card / debit card / net banking payment is available.

JMC has made arrangements with scheduled bank to provide these services. A taxpayer making a payment by credit card / debit card / net banking may choose to pay their tax liabilities by credit card / debit card / net banking will be asked by the credit card / debit card / net banking service provider to furnish personal identifying information, the credit card / debit card / net banking number and expiration date, the amount of the payment. No extra charges will be levied by Bank from the taxpayers for using these services. Taxpayers should also note that, following authorization of the credit card / debit card / net banking payment, the Bank will forward to JMC only that information necessary for JMC to properly credit the payment to the taxpayer’s account (i.e., identifying information, payment amount). JMC will not receive any personal credit card / debit card / net banking information, such as credit card / debit card / net banking number or account status.

Questions regarding content, privacy policies and/or security procedures of the credit card / debit card / net banking service providers should be directed to those providers, and not to JMC.


Cancellation / Refund Policy:

The fees once paid will not be refunded for applications which are successfully submitted or for successful bill payment services. Cancellation of applications / bill payments shall not be entertained. The amount paid may be settled with the department respective departmental services.

By Default all failure Transactions are automatically refunded as per the standard policy. However for the same to reflect in your account it may take specific time as per the standard policy. Generally refunds will be reflected within a standard number of Days in Case of Net Banking/Debit Card Transaction &a standard number of Days (Next Billing Cycle) for Credit Card Transactions. In case of excess payment, the amount will be settled as per the rules of the respective departmental services.
